Dear Ann:

Thank you for writing me such a lovely and kindest comment. You made my day and recharge my spirit. Yes, I have my share of vulnerability and need embrace from time to time.

I am glad that I touched a few souls on my last year’s trip to Tainan. All I can do is to plant a few seeds so when the time is right, the seed will become a young shoot.

What you have done to that old grandpa on that special moment requires courage. I hope you will learn this lesson well and cultivate a positive emotion in your character building. You should be more aware of what other people’s need and want. Other people matters. This is called Empathy. This is the powerful value system that will shape your character and become your best ally.

Now, I have a homework for you. Please write something ( I noticed that you are talented with writing emotional connected words. ) to your dad and want him to know that you love him and, especially, thank him for the decision to postpone your study to Japan. Your goal is to let your father relief of any negative emotion ( guilt ) associate with this difficult decision.

I am so glad that you decided to go back to school. You are still very young and there are so much to learn and to experience in your lifetime. I think you have a pretty good start.

Yes, please continue the quest to ask right questions. By asking honest and right questions, you will find the right answers yourself.

You are accountable for your life, not your father, or anyone in the world.

Thank you for the photo link. I will treasure the brief encounter we had during your teenage time.
Thank you for loving me.
